“I made the acquaintance of Leslie Lum at the 9/14/06 Appel & Frank fashion event where she purchased 2 cuffs from my jewelry collection. She introduced herself from the SF Chronicle Newspaper and we exchanged business cards. She took several of my postcards and business cards to distribute to her friends. I received an email communication inviting me to meet her at work. Leslie was thoughtful by informing her colleagues that I would have my jewelry collection. Leslie forwarded my information to her editorial colleagues in Style and SF iS. This was a wonderful opportunity for me to generate new business from her colleagues that purchased my bangles, necklaces and earrings. The WOW factor of all this is the excitement of being contacted to be featured in a future issue of SF iS on November 16, 2006. Leslie and I are working on future promotional opportunities and PR initiatives for Alba Nikka.”
